Skimboarding tracks
What is Skimboarding?
Great fun combined with water sports for lovers of surfing and adrenaline. An absolute novelty on the market of outdoor attractions, it is gaining more and more fans of this type of fun every year. The product is designed for any person whose motor coordination allows him or her to run up and jump onto a wooden board, after which he or she makes a slide on the surface of the water. The designed track of a certain length is lined with a material that keeps the water mirror in a certain area, so the slide is long and precise. While riding on the track, more advanced people can perform stunts similar to those presented when riding a classic board with wheels.
The professional skimboarding track is produced in different sizes, with respect to the needs and outdoor destination. It will be perfect for family and intimate parties (up to 15m), as well as the main attraction at a camp, sports event or event (up to 25m).
Noteworthy is the fact that skimboarding is also practiced by professionals: 62-year-old Australian Ron Aggs has covered a distance of 50 meters on a skimboard, thus setting an Australian record.
The skimboard tracks offered by Gangaru are made of gas-tight fabric used in the production of rescue pontoons, among other things. This material is resistant to tearing and abrasion. The high abrasion threshold and weight of the PVC material guarantee excellent fun, safety and durability for many seasons.
The unquestionable advantage of the skimboarding track is its mobility and the possibility of placing it on almost any surface with safety within the attraction. It is recommended to establish a protective field for users of the attraction with additional areas in the form of cushioning the ground with cantilever foam. We also recommend that when using the skimboarding track, users should be protected o protective helmets. The skimboarding track works well on flat, soft surfaces such as; lawns, sandy shoreline supported by a paved embankment, or paved non-gravel ground.
